Welcome to the Windham Hill Inn

As we look to continue to make improvements for the future, we are currently working on renovating the Main House & restaurant, which was damaged in a fire in 2021.  We hope to return the South Wing of the building with 3 rooms and the commercial kitchen back to service in the first phase, and then continue to restore the main house with its common areas and guest rooms in phase 2.

Sometimes what you want to do in Vermont is explore.  You want to go on hikes, tour interesting places, or spend your time on our various ski mountains. We want to make sure you have a lovely time in Vermont, whatever you’re looking to do.

  • Stratton Mountain: One of the closer ski mountains to us, Stratton Mountain offers over 38 miles of ski trails
  • Stratton Village allowing you to enjoy dining and shopping all on the mountain

Whether you’re looking to grab some food for a picnic, souvenirs to bring home, or just some cool places to buy everyday items, Vermont has some great options.

  • Northshire Bookstore: A cozy bookstore in downtown Manchester, about 35 minutes from the Inn, Northshire is a lovely place to enjoy some coffee and a good book, and let things slow down around you.

The Windham Hill Inn does not currently have a restaurant on-site, but there are plenty of local places we recommend to grab something to eat while you’re here with us.  Whether that be something quick and casual, or a little more formal, there’s going to be something for you.

  • The West Townshend Country Store: Located just down the hill from the Inn, the Country Store is who we partner with to
provide breakfast vouchers for our guests, they also offer lunch, as well as dinner on Fridays and Tuesday.
  • The Fat Crow: Located in Newfane about 15 minutes from us, The Fat Crow is one of the most popular local restaurants in the area

We know many people come to Vermont for various markets, festivals, or concerts, and we wanted to highlight a few things happening in the upcoming weeks and months for those who are looking for things to do.
